On this page you will find “blank” porcelain buttons. From here you can choose the size and shape that will best suit your garment. There are tiny ¼" buttons that are perfect for baby outfits. We go up to 1” buttons which would look great on an adult sweater or jacket. If you don't see the size you need, please contact us, and we can probably get it for you.

The next step is for you to let us know what your needs are. That can be done with a swatch of fabric, a drawing or just an idea which we can then transform into YOUR unique button.

Each button is hand painted, then fired at an average temperature of 1350 degrees Fahrenheit. Gold on these buttons is pure 32% gold not just a gold color. If a button has gold on it, it goes through more steps before it can get to you. Gold can only be fired by itself. Gold cannot be fired if it is touching unfired color, it turns the gold black. Gold, once fired gets polished by hand with very fine sand. This is to let you know how much work goes into even the tiniest of buttons.

The shank that each button receives varies based on what is painted on the button. For example, if you want a button that is mostly gold...it will most likely have a gold tone shank. If it is a tiny baby button it will probably have a tiny mother of pearl shank. The shanks we chose from are; gold tone, silver tone, clear plastic or mother of pearl. The shanks are chosen to compliment the button.

Each button is special, each button is different, each button is a miniature work of art specially made for your treasured garment.
